                -Majestic Theatre received a Small Communities Improvement Grant for
                      façade renovation in March 2010. Renovation is scheduled for completion 
                      in August 2011.
                -Assembly of God Church remodeled Brooke building and now operates a 
                    community outreach/ministry building
               -Replacement of sidewalks and curbing in several areas
               -Replace 400 feet of water line
               -Redrilled 2 new wells
               -Updated under storage pump facility
               -Replaced slaker water treatment provider
               -Resealed the runway at the airport
               -Seeking funding for the Street Lighting Project
               -Replacement of 2nd and State intersections, sidewalk, and curbing along 200 
                  block of State Street.
               -Gateway into the downtown area is being designed
               -Old Armory renovated for the Community Wellness Center
               -Community passes a ½ cent sales tax for the building of an Aquatic Park
                     alongside the Wellness Center
               -Thirteen business owners attended a marketing seminar in Longmont  
                    Colorado for a Community Reinvention program: Destination University
                   -Held 2 National Hot Wheels Festivals
                  -Renovated run down school into Community Center
                  -New furnace in the Community Center
                  -Renovated City Building downtown and new roof
                  -Took many loads of old tires for recycle
                  -Renovated old firehouse for city storage
                  -Developed a large park area where crumbling buildings from main street
                      used to be.
                 -Installed playground equipment, horseshoe pit, basketball, & sand volleyball
                      court

    In addition:

                -Developed a Discover Phillips County Website- to bring awareness to
                     Discover Phillips County and to promote our communities.
                -Discover Phillips County Facebook Page – This is a means of using the social
                     media to encourage people to come “Discover Phillips County”. Daily
                     postings are utilized to bring awareness of what we not only have to offer,
                     but what kind of community/people we are.
                -Discover Phillips County signs have been installed at all four entries for
                     Phillips County
                -New Discover Phillips County Brochures
                -Business Trainings have been made available to all Phillips County 
                     Businesses.
                            -Participation at all trainings have been very impressive and included
                                representation from almost all communities in the County.
