DISCOVER PHILLIPS COUNTY RECOGNIZED AT THE KANSAS MAIN STREET AWARDS BANQUET

Discover Phillips County received the Excellence in Public/Private Partnership Award at the Kansas Main Street Awards Banquet in Leavenworth.
Discover Phillips County wrote and then received a grant from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. This grant allows Phillips County business owners to attend the both the Kansas Main Street Quarterly Trainings as well as the National Main Street Trust Training.
Also receiving awards from the Discover Phillipsburg Main Street Program was the 1959 Walking Tour which received the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award; and Phillips County Economic Development received the Kansas Main Street Leadership Award.
Attendees from Phillipsburg included Michelle Jacobs, Toni Culberson, Becky Lix, Bridgit Smith, Stephanie Austin, Paula Schilowsky, Brenda Chance and Jeff Hofaker.
